George Baty is a part of US Black heritage.

George Baty was born in 1870 in Indiana.

He was the child of Charles Baty and Maggie Cowen, the nephew of Civil War veteran George Cowen of the famous 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry and the grandchild of physician Dr. Cyrus Cowan.

He is described as a widower in 1920.[1]
