Does anyone know where I can find transcripts or images of primary sources online for slave manumissions at the Cape pre 1806. Currently my interest is in the 1652 - 1700 period but will extend later. This does not refer to a specific profile, it is a general question related to sources. I know a wide range of sources on cape slavery, including the slave registers in the British period. The sources for manumissions in the Dutch period elude me and I can't find them in any of indexes for the Cape archives. I am sure I am missing something.
