Biography
Maria Magdalena Zentmeyer was born in 1745 in France. Magdalena Zentmeyer married Johanes Lauman in 1769 in Pennsylvania. They moved to Augusta County, Virginia. She passed away after 1819. She is understood to have been "a stalwart" at St. John's Lutheran Church, MIddlebrook, Augusta County, Virginia. The place(s) of her death and burial are unknown with some indicating Rockbridge, Virginia,[1] and others Middlebrook, Augusta County, Virginia. [2]
