WESTWOOD - Leonard Yates, 60, of 1121 McConnell St., West wood, died at 12:35 pm Thurs day in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital following an extended illness. Born Feb. 27, 1907, in Ashland, he was a son of Mrs. Rettie Dar by Yates of the McConnell Street address and the late Henry Yates. He was a former laborer in the brickyards of the Big Run Coal and Clay Co. and the Ash land Brick Co. In addition to the mother, he is survived by four brothers. Rob.: ert, Milford and Willard E. Yates, all of Dayton, O., and John Yates of Barberton, 0.: and three sis: ters. Mrs. Wardie Howard of Westwood, Mrs. Elmo Shelton and Mrs. Rollin Ratliff, both of Ash land. The body has been taken from the Caniff Funeral Home at West wood to the residence, where friends may call after 8 this evening Funeral services will be con ducted at 2 p. m. Sunday at the !
