Communication Preferences:
I am interested in communicating with
cousins and anyone else with an interest in genealogy.
Here is my family tree.
Can't do Geni anymore. They deleted my extensive family tree and have a paywall of at least $20bto participate.
Thank you for joining us! I wanted to check in with you to see how things are going. How do you like WikiTree so far? Have the tips in the New Member How To Pages been helpful or have they left you with questions?
Please let me know if you have any questions about WikiTree. To contact me, log in to WikiTree and go to your profile. Use the ‘Reply’ link below my comment to be sure that I will be notified. P.S. To find reliable sources for your profiles, go to the Family Tree & Tools tab; select Genealogy Research and scroll down near the bottom of that list and select Research with RootsSearch. There are over 20 websites to access from there.
Welcome back, Roger! You are now a Family Member -- your contributions will go a long way to joining the world together!
Start with the New Member How-To pages — they are really useful as you add profiles and learn your way around.
Click the green tags near the top of your profile and see others following the same surnames you are researching. The more of these clickable tags you add (20 max.) that include surnames, locations, periods of history or other genealogical interests, the more connections you will make and maybe find a few cousins! To edit or add more tags, click on the word “following” or use this link. This page will help you learn more about tags.
Thanks for signing our Honor Code. When you are ready, you may be interested in joining a project that suits your area of research or becoming a volunteer.
If you have any questions about how WikiTree works, use the reply link below to let me know. I am happy to help!
WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!
You'll get an email from us that has helpful links to get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any other genealogy site out there.
When you confirm your email address, youll have an opportunity to volunteer and tell us about your genealogical interests.
What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research youd like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? Fill in the tags and comments on your profile to show what you're researching? and click the "Save Tag(s) and Volunteer" button, and one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership, and youll be on your way!
