Birth

Marianne was baptised at St Peter and St Paul, Hanborough on 2nd Octobert 1814.[1] She was the daughter of Joseph Whitly and Ann Field. Her father gave his occupation on the baptism register as labourer.

Marriage

James Bayliss and Mary Ann Whitley were married at St Peter and St Paul, Hanborough on 23rd September 1832. They were bachelor and spinster, both of the parish and neither could sign their names on the register. The witnesses to the marriage were Isaac Whitley and Sophia Whitley.[2]
