Biography

William Vickers was born on 1 November 1868 in Newbattle, Edinburghshire, Scotland, son of Robert Vickers and Esther (Hare) Vickers.[1][2]

He married Marion Moffat Black on 29 August 1890 at Stobhill Manse, Gorebridge, Edinburghshire, Scotland, He was a coal miner living at Gowkshill, Gorebridge.[3] They had 8 children.
