She was the second[5] wife[4] of Charles Reed - also her second marriage - and the stepmother of Civil War veterans Charles E. Reed and Joseph W. Reed of the famous 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry.

Raymoure-1 21:23, 28 May 2020 (UTC): Handwriting in marriage record is uncertain; the last letters in her surname are probably ymer but the presumed H is formed differently than other for-sure Hs on the same page; holding off until I can find another record to confirm. Also unclear if this was her married name from her first marriage or if it was her last name at birth.
