Biography

Elizabeth was born about 1736 in Virginia and a daughter of John Tyus and Ann Branch. Elizabeth married John Hunt on March 5, 1756 in Sussex County, Virginia. After John's death she married William Jones on May 22, 1767 in Sussex County, Virginia. She passed away in 1782 and buried somewhere in Sussex County, Virginia. On Find A Grave her burial is listed as unknown. [1]

[4]NOTE: In his will John refers to his wife as Agnes. Since Ann died about a year later, 1764, based on other records -- Ann and Agnes must be the same person.
