Biography
Lina "Linnie" Charlotte Stanley was born 10 May 1888 in Winthrop, Little River County, Arkansas.[1][2] She was the daughter of Joseph Stanley and Flozella (Oglesby) Stanley.[1]
On 19 January 1905 in Little River, Arkansas, 16 year old Lina married 36 year old James "J.A." Grider. [3] They had five known children.
Her husband died in 1940 and Linnie, age 56, was remarried 30 January 1943 in Little River, Arkansas to William Joel Smith, age 74.[4]
Linnie Charlotte (Stanley) Smith, age 82, died 28 February, 1971 in Winthrop, Little River, Arkansas and was buried in Piney Cemetery ,Little River County, Arkansas.[2]
