Lavada "Vada" Stanley, daughter of Joseph Stanley and Flozella (Oglesby) Stanley, was born 26 March 1898 in Arkansas, United States. Per the 1900 Census, she was born in Texas. [1] Per the 1930 Census, she was born in Arkansas. [2] Note, birth date was inscribed on tombstone. [3]

In 1900, Lavada lived with her parents and siblings in Little River County, Arkansas. [1]

On 7 June 1919 in Sevier County, Arkansas, Lavada maried Willis W. Gabbard. [4]

Per the 1930 U.S. Census, Vada was enumerated with her husband and children Paul and Aubrey in Little River, Arkansas. [2]
