Catherine Shriver was born on December 23, 1769, in Frederick county, Virginia, the daughter of Adam Shriver and Christina Strosnider.[1]
Catherine was married to Peter Henkins, son of Johann Heinrich Henkenius and Margaret Arndorff, on March 3, 1789, in Frederick county. They were the parents of 12 children.
Catherine died on August 24, 1842 in Greene county, Pennsylvania, and is buried in the Henkins family cemetery there.
