Biography

Adam was born in 1788. He was the son of Jacob Shriver and Elizabeth Shull.[1]

Adam was married to Delilah Gordon, daughter of John Adam Gordon and Cassandra Holland. They were the parents of 11 children. They were living in Jackson Township, Guernsey County, in 1850[2] and 1860.[3]

He passed away on August 1, 1861 in Guernsey County, Ohio.[4] He is buried at Mount Zion Baptist Cemetery in Byesville, Guernsey County. A memorial page has been established on Find A Grave.

His will was made December 9, 1857, and probated October 21, 1861.[5]
