A week ago I sent a Trusted List request for Arthur Wellesley (Wellesley-4). Have you had a chance to review it?

We haven’t heard back from you concerning the Scottish Clans Transition. If we haven’t received a response from you by 29 March 2020, you will be welcome to rejoin by answering the current g2g thread for joining the Scotland Project.
Best Regards,
Sarah Mason, Scotland PC
My name is Sarah and I’m the Project Coordinator for the Scotland Project. As you may have heard, we have merged the Scottish Clans project into the Scotland Project. I am contacting you today to find out if you are interested in continuing with us under this new format. If you would like to go forward on the Scottish Clans Team, please reply and let me know which clans you have been working on or would like to work on. I look forward to hearing from you.
Best Regards,
Sarah Mason, Scotland PC
You look to be a descendant of John Delaney Gann and Malinda Arnold through their daughter Nancy Malinda. I am a descendant of Pleasant Wright, whom I believe would have been Malinda Arnold's second husband she married in 1852 in Nacogdoches Texas. By Sept. 1858 we have records indicating Pleasant Wright is getting married again to a German lady named Wilhelmine Caroline " Minna" Sckerls. I cannot find any records, burial or indication that Malinda died. There are a couple of children present in the new home which are problematic as well. There is a daughter Mathilda who is given the last name of "Wright" - she is six years old in 1860 putting her birth squarely in the Malinda Gann marriage timeline. On Mathilda's death certificate though her father is named as a Mr. Gunther from Germany. This means to me that she was Minna's daughter with a first husband coming into the relationship, and a step daughter to Pleasant Wright. Not Malinda Gann's daughter. It seems Malinda Gann's daughters Sarah and Nancy Malinda stayed with their father and his new wife as they are seen in a census living there. The second child under questionable parentage is a James Henry Wright. The 1860 Census shows he is three years old but his actual birthday is known later making him barely a two year old at the time of the census. This has him being born in June of 1858 - when Pleasant was still married (presumably) to Malinda Gann. By September Malinda is gone and Pleasant Wright and Wilhelmine "Minna" Sckerls are getting married. I am trying to determine who is this child's mother. It seems more logical that Malinda had this baby and died giving birth - prompting her exit from the scene. Pleasant Wright with a new baby needed someone to care for it and he hires Wilhelmine "Minna" Sckerls - a local widow with a young daughter. They fall in love and marry quickly... as ya do. Also, there is a child living with them on the 1860 census named Delores Wright age nine - born in Mexico... who is that? She completely disappears by the next census and I can't find that she married or died. I have an entire story cooked up for her as well.. I would like to know your thoughts or what family stories may have been passed down that could explain some of these mysteries.
Kind regards,
Kittie Aldakkour (Mann) - my great grandmother, Rosa Wright was the child of Pleasant Wright and Wilhelmine Sckerls.
I havent heard back from you about the United Kingdom Project breaking up into the individual country-level projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. I hope all is well with you. I assume you dont wish to join any of them at present, and will go ahead and remove the United Kingdom badge. If you wish to join England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland in the future, you would be most welcome to do so via the respective G2G sign-up post.
Many thanks for all your contributions,
Susie :-)
We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.
Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please dont assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.
Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.
Many thanks,
Susie
Give me a holler if you have any questions. If you'd like to join either project check out the project pages:
Project:Mayflower and Project:Magna Carta
Cheers, Liz
perhaps you could replace it with a sticker based on coding posted on https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Template:Descendant
Cheers, Liz
Could you replace it with a sticker please? The Magna Carta project has developed some coding you can use for that:
{Descendant |image=Magna Carta Team Base Camp.png |imagetext=Magna Carta Project logo |id=several [:Category:Surety Barons|Magna Carta Surety Barons] }
Double the braces and brackets to display the template and have the category be a link:Cheers, Liz
Im Susie the new leader of the England Project. We are contacting all existing members of the project to find out how you are currently involved, and how you would like to be involved moving forward. Please have a look at the England Project page for more information, and then contact either myself or Gillian to let us know what youd like to do, or if you have any questions. We can then list your interests, help you join the team in the Google group forum for England, and give you any help you might need to get going. If we dont hear back from you well assume you no longer want to be a part of the England Project at this time.
Many thanks and I look forward to hearing from you,
Susie :-)
