Biography

Juliane de Say was the daughter of Geoffrey de Say and Idoine de Leybourne.[1][2][3] Her husband was 12 at Easter 1319 according to the IPM of his grandfather,[3][4] which suggests she herself may have been born a little before 1310. Her birth place is not known: her father held lands in a number of counties.[5][6]

Her mother acquired the right to arrange the marriage of Roger de Northwode from Bartholomew de Badlesmere,[3] and married Juliane to him after 23 March 1322,[1][2] "between the fourteenth and fifteenth years of his age" according to a genealogical roll drawn up in the period 1385-1405.[7] They had four children:

Juliane died on 20 February 1329.[1][2][3][7]

This profile appears in a Richardson documented trail from Gateway Edward Digges to surety baron Geoffrey de Say that has not yet been developed on WikiTree (see trail here). I will soon be adding the Magna Carta Project as co-manager of this profile as well as project box and project section. Thanks.
