Biography

Blanche was born in 1849. She was the daughter of Christopher Rawson and Ellen Wright.

In 1872, she married Ernest Edmund Molyneux Royds.

They lived at Leehurst, Spotland, Lancashire. They lived at Sheet, Petersfield, Hampshire.

They had children:

Kathleen Mabel (1873) m Arthur Herbert Hayes
Percy Molyneux Rawson (1874) m Florence Yarrow
Ellen Jessica (1876-1965) unmarried
Charles William Rawson (1876) m Mary L Sobright

NB: Ellen Jessica was baptised 2nd February 1876. Charles William Rawson was baptised 1st March 1876. Both by Ernest E.M and Blanche Royds of Leehurst. The ages given in census records indicates they were probably twins.

Ernest died in 1892.

In 1901 she and Kathleen were lodging in St Andrews, Scotland. In 1911, she and Ellen were boarding in Fulford, Yorkshire.

At the time of her death, she lived at Milestone Cottage, Golf Drive, Camberley, Surrey.

She passed away in 1936. Probate to Percy Molyneaux Rawson Royds C.B. C.M.G. Retired Admiral R.N.
