Persse Rainsford was born on 22 April 1850 at Lower Gloucester Street, Dublin, Ireland.^[1] He was the son of Persse Rainsford and Catherine Reeves.

Emigration

Persse Rainsford emigrated to Australia with his family leaving London in 1865 on the s.s.'British Peer' and arriving in Sydney, New South Wales on 22 Jul 1865.^[2]

Marriage

Persse Rainsford married Marie Louise Martin in 1874 at Sydney, New South Wales.^[3]

RAINSFORD.-July 10, 1939, at his residence, Howth, 20 Hopetoun Street, Petersham, Persse, beloved husband of the late Marie Louise Rainsford and last surviving son of Persse Rainsford, solicitor Sydney, in his 90th year.^[5]

He was buried at the St Jude's Church of England Cemetery, Randwick, New South Wales, Australia.
