Henry was previously married to Alexina Fraser. Her real name was Elizabeth McDonald Irvine and her mother was Janet Frazer. She went by various names and eventually died of acute alcohol poisoning. They were married from 1898 until her death in 1908. ^[1]

When Elizabeth, married to i) Joseph Anderson, coal miner ii) Henry James Perfect, boiler foreman died her usual residence was 6 Roslin Glen, Roslin. Elizabeth's death was reported by daughter M Smith , of 242 Leith Walk, Leith, Edinburgh, on 4th July 1921 at Edinburgh.
