Biography
Janet Frazer was born to William Fraizer and Janet Murchland about 1837.[1] A baptism register could not be found for Janet. This is entirely possible as her father had contempt for the local clergy.[2]
She married Andrew Irvine on the 28 Nov 1856 in Stevenston, Ayrshire [3]
She had nine children and passed away giving birth to the ninth child. (see Andrew Irvine for a list of children.
Janet died of labour convulsions 13 hours, 3 Nov 1877 at Buttery's Row, Armadale.[4]
