I have been working on my tree extensively for the past 5 years now, although I started it about 15years ago for a college project, and laid it aside. Family genealogy has become an addictive hobby. The more I learn about y roots, the more I want to learn. My mother was of English, Irish and Dutch, ancestors. My Father was Italian English, and Irish. I had my DNA tested through Ancestry DNA and has matched 2nd cousins 1x removed on both my maternal and paternal lines. I also matched my father's brother. This is my ancestry ethnic breakdown from ancestry.
Ethnicity Estimate Europe West 42% Primarily located in: Belgium, France, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein My DNA shows that I have ancestry from Europe West and links you to these specific regions: New York Settlers Northeastern States Settlers Europe South
20% -Southern Italy
12-%Ireland/Scotland/Wales
9%European Jewish 5% Great Britain

This is Chris from the Italy Project. As part of the annual project check-in, can you fill in the project survey? This will let us know that you are still interested in the project and which teams you'd like to participate in.
Thanks and have a great day!
The Ireland Project (previously the Irish Roots Project) has now changed its structure into Teams. We require everyone with the Ireland Badge to be a member of at least one Team or Sub-Team and our google group. See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Ireland for details. The Teams are :-
? Can you let me know if youd like to stay on in the new project and which team(s) youd like to join. Please also let me know your e-mail address so that I can get you added to the projects Google Group or confirm you are already a member of the google group.
Many thanks,

I tried a DNA match, but it's too far back to show. We share Lucy Sage thru Dixon =>Lent-804 Evelyn (Peet) Vinson and Prudence (Dixon) Lent are both descendants of Lucy Sage.
5. Florence is the daughter of Benjamin D Dixon [confident] 6. Benjamin is the son of John Dixon [unknown confidence] 7. John is the son of Lucy Sage [unknown confidence] This makes Lucy the fifth great grandmother of Evelyn.
1. Prudence is the daughter of Lucy Sage [unknown confidence]
<snip> ... please join the project's Google Group.

It's not hard to add DNA test information to profiles on WikiTree, just make sure you add the tests to the actual test participant's profile & set the Privacy to Private w/ Public Biography & Family Tree to show the tester's part of our tree. For help see How to DNA on WikiTree
Here's a great YouTube video with all sorts of questions answered Getting Started with DNA.

You can mark your relationship to your father 'confirmed with DNA'. Add the statement that's on your uncle Frank Peet's profile right now to your own biography.
I would suggest that you select a Gateway Ancestor who is documented by Richardson. Check the "ready to go" table at Base Camp to find one you'd like to be Guardian for. You could also pick a Gateway Ancestor from the table at Category:Gateway Ancestors. We've had a few "popular" Gateways (who now have more than one Guardian), so you might want to check Space:Trail Tracks to see if someone has already selected him/her before deciding.
Cheers, Liz
Welcome to the Magna Carta Project. We look forward to working with you to improve the profiles of our Gateway Ancestors and the documented lineages that connect them to one or more of the 17 Magna Carta Barons who have living descendants today.
