Estella Mary Osborne was born on 6 June 1916 in Breathitt County, Kentucky, United States, daughter of Rev. Christopher Columbus Osborne and Loula K. Covington.

Estell (age 15) married Darley Spencer (age 21) on 5 November 1931 in Campton, Wolfe, Kentucky.^[1] They were parents of ten known children.

In the 1940 census Estilla (age 23) was the wife of Darley Spencer in Magisterial District 3 Campton, Wolfe, Kentucky.^[2]

Estella was recorded as a resident in from 15 Nov 2007 to 20 Aug 2008 in Middletown, Warren, Ohio, United States.^[3]

Estella died (age 90) on 16 March 2007 in Ohio, United States.^[4][5] and was buried in Woodside Cemetery and Arboretum, Middletown, Butler, Ohio.^[6]

Research Notes

Stella and Darley divorced sometime before the 1950 census. He is seen as the husband of Mary Elizabeth Smallwood with seven of his children with Stella. The location of the other three children is unknown. They may have been with Stella or it is possible Darley and Stella remarried after 1950 and had additional children. All of their children are mentioned in Stella's obituary at FindAGrave and some are likely still living.
