Biography
Born to John and Abby Odle, Narcissus (many records call her Narcissa) married Daniel Boone Cutbirth on Nov 1, 1846 in Washington County, Arkansas. They had five children together:
• Margaret [Margret] W Cutbirth Cutbirth • John Cutbirth (1849-1860; died from scarlet fever) • Mary Ann Cutbirth Poston • Sarah Jane "Sallie" Cutbirth Cutbirth • Elijah Cutbirth (1857-1860; died from scarlet fever)
When Daniel was killed by an ox-team accident at their home in Arkansas, Narcissus drove an ox cart with her three daughters to Texas. [1]
