Originally McKissick-90 but it was too late when I realized I didn't want to capitalize the K in my name!!! So upset!

Thank you for the changes on he Reger family, can you please add online sources to support each fact and person added in the edit on the bio for

Reger-180

Unfortunately, especially with the older profiles, things can easily be included that is not proven. I have found way to many people with children attached that are not theirs.

For items not proven, they will need to be noted as such.

If this can't be done, I'll need to reverse out the changes.

I will work on it tonight. I am at work but should have a few hours of free time... Hopefully lol

Thank you.. I did a quick edit putting what the book sourced for the marriage etc., as I have not seen any info for her on family search etc.. and have not had a chance to go down her rabbit hole much.

The university with the Reger Bible took photos of it, and I attached them last year. Unfortunately, it had no info to help confirm or deny the lives of the children.

We have a duplicate of son Jacob, one with children and one without children and have so far only seen that book with the section in it... I'm not overly apt to always believe the no Children, as a 30-year brick wall on another line had my GGG grandmother and her sister deceased as children when they went on and had a family.. lol So on this line, I'm being very big on sources, as we are dealing with a lot of mixed up families in a time where records were scarce and a lot of ancestry copy and yes that's mine... As I work through genealogy classes, also understand the expected sourcing on these people.. and no hurry... I did a quick separation of what is proven vs unproven for now.. so we are both working with a clean "foundation" for her.

I saw the one with Jacob, I figured the one with the differently spelled name may not be the right one.

HI Sarah: Thanks for your interest in the Spaur family and filling in a lot of holes. I have not been working on Genealogy much as of late, but try to keep up with additions and corrections down the line. We are fourth cousins, once removed down the Spaur line, my maternal grandmother being Hazel Marie Spaur (1898-1996). I have met several Spaurs and visited Spaur family sites and cemeteries in Iowa. You may DM me if you want.

Hi, Sarah

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.

Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
