Margaret Napier "Eaune" Montgomery By Bill Bray July 20, 1999 at 07:08:54 To any/all descendants of Alexander and Margaret Napier "Eaune" Montgomery of Sevier County, TN-I have uncovered documentary evidence in Norfolk County, Henrico County, and the city of Richmond in Virginia that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that there never was such a person as Margaret "Eaune" - some prior researcher mis-read the original marriage bond document - the surname really was Conner - she was married to an Alexander Montgomery who died in Richmond in 1800 - the Sevier County Montgomerys were no relation to that Alexander Montgomery and wife Margaret. Just wanted to share this info with any who might have interest.[2]
