Biography
When Zachariah Henry NANCE was born on December 17, 1800, in Charles City, Virginia, his father, Zachariah, was 40 and his mother, Jane, was 36. He married Emeline LATHAM on September 12, 1826, in Halifax, North Carolina. They had six children in 15 years. He died on April 4, 1885, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, having lived a long life of 84 years.
