Biography
George A Murphy was born in 1837 in Georgia, his father, Robert, was 38 and his mother, Rebecca, was 32. He married America Ann Penrod on December 3, 1862, in Union, Kentucky. He then married Mary Vancleave and they had five children together. He died in August 1888 in Crittenden, Kentucky, at the age of 51, and was buried there.[1]
