Biography

William Montgomery was born 12 Jan 1788 in Washington, Beaufort County, North Carolina, the son of Alexander Montgomery and Margaret Eaune Napier. On 2 Apr 1824, at age 36, in Roane County, Tennessee, he married Elizabeth Winton, age 22. Together, they had ten children.
