Simpson Mixon; William Mixon; Mary Mixon, wife of T. L. Mixon who was Mary Mixon before the intermarriage with the said T. L.; T. L. Mixon; and T. L. Mixon guardian for Gatsy Mixon, heirs at-law of Britton Mixon, deceased, late of Chickasaw State of Mississippi, gave a deed for the sale of 80 acres of land from the estate of Britton Mixon. Deed signed by all with an added signature of James C. D. Mixon.
Note: On the 1850 Census, Britton’s daughter, Mary Dunning Mixon, is listed in the household of her grandparents, Ichabod Mixon and Gatsy Belk. The families of Britton and Ichabod are on the same page.
John Mixon and Narcissa Mixon, shown in Britton’s household in 1850, are not named in the deed.
