Roy was born in about 1898. He is the son of George Miner and Adelia Curry. The 1901 Canadian census lists Roy C. as a 2 yr old, Nova Scotia born, English-Cdn, Baptist, living in Lockhartville NS.[1]
The 1911 Cdn census lists him as a 13 yr old, NS born, English-Cdn, Baptist living in Walbrook NS.[2]
He left Nova Scotia in about 1918 and settled in Alberta as a rancher.
He died in 1928 in Hussar AB of a fractured skull in an obscure accident involving his team of horses(?) and he is buried in Burnsland Cemetery, Calgary, Calgary Census Division, Alberta, Canada.[3][4]
