Lottie was the daughter of George Miner and Adelia Curry.
Lottie was born in 1893 in Gaspereau, Kings County, Nova Scotia, Canada. [1]
When informed of the death of an older cousin she wrote to that cousin's brother and reminisced when she was "...in the Valley of the Gaspereau, were playing tag around the aged building, nearly at the point of exhaustion my short fat legs were about to collapse, when your dear Rossie's outstretched hand shepherded my direction...". She continued that in later life Rossie's letters shepherded her regularly when the "...joy-catchers were about the catch her...".[2]
The 1901 Cdn census lists Lottie as a 7 yr old, NS born, English-Cdn, Baptist adherent, living in Lockhartville, NS.[3]
The 1911 Cdn census lists her as a17 yr old, NS born, English-Cdn, Baptist adherent, living in Walbrook NS.[4]+
In Oct 1911 she moved to South Kamloops, British Columbia to teach school.[5]
She and her family were living in North Vancouver prior to Jul 1916 when her husband, Frank, volunteered for WWI. Prior to this date she and her three month old son moved to Fort Langley, BC.[6]
Lottie died in 1974 and she is buried in Nakusp Cemetery, Nakusp, West Kootenay, British Columbia, Canada.[7]
