Biography
Birth
- Emeline Merrill was born at Livermore, Maine (then in Massachusetts), on 1 Sep 1809, the daughter of Jonathan Merrill and Sarah (Coffin) Merrill.[1]
Marriage
- Emeline Merrill married Isaac Harrington.[2] On 12 Oct 1840, the marriage of Isaac Harrington of Turner, Maine, and Emeline Merrill of Livermore, Maine, was recorded at Livermore.[3] Their first child was born at Livermore, Maine, on 18 May 1841.[4]
Children
- Emeline (Merrill) Harrington was the mother of four known children, born between 1841 and about 1851, and they are listed in the "Children" section of her husband's profile.
Death
- After 31 years of widowhood, Emeline (Merrill) Harrington died on 24 Nov 1891, and she is buried at the Hillman Ferry Cemetery in Livermore, Maine, where her gravestone shows her age at her death as 81.[5]
