Robert 'Walt' Alexander Menzies was born on 18 Sep 1856 at Spring Creek near Wangaratta, Victoria, Australia.^[1][2][3] He was the son of George Menzies and Mary Anglim. Note: Mary Anglim used the name 'Brodie' on Walt's Birth Certificate. This was the maiden name of George Menzies mother (Agnes Brodie Menzies).
