From Trove:
The death occurred last week at her residence, 41 Woniora Road, Hurstville, of Mrs. Mary Dornan, widow of the late Alexander Dornan, of Pola Creek, aged 79. Beloved by all who had the pleasure of her acquaintance her passing is regretted; and the memory of her hospitality both on the Macleay and at her suburban home will long linger with the many she befriended. One son, Leonard, was killed in the recent European war, and surviving sons and daughters are Donald and Adin (Pola Creek), Alex (Queensland), Stanley (Gosford), John (Sydney), Mrs. G. W. King (Campsie), Misses Effie and Mary Dornan (Hurstville). Mrs. Janet Johnston and Mrs. G. Ainsworth of East Kempsey are sisters, and Messrs Robert and Hugh Mackay, brothers. The funeral, under conduct of Mr. J. R. Garland, moved on Thursday last to East Kempsey cemetery after a service at the Presbyterian Church, the Rev. J. B. Thorn, assisted by the Rev. Ramsay, of Wauchope, officiating.
