Hi Chrissy,

My name is Warren and John Wright and Sarah LAWRENCE, the parents of Ebenezer b. 1777, were my 4th gg parents. This kinfolk was the first person I entered into my family tree and the first Brick Wall. I have never satisfactorily been able to source and connect any of it. According to family knowledge and some hand written notes: (Should I post these?) John was born in Westford, MA 7Sep1723 and he was a Sgt. in the Revolution, the same as Wright-425, which agrees with the DAR File - WRIGHT, JOHN Ancestor #: A208089 According to family he married Sarah Lawrence. Their son was Ebenezer born 26 Nov 1777. I have been unable to find a marriage record or a birth record for Sarah other than in Dunstable VR, p54 where some records say Sarah came from: Sary, d. David and Sarah, Jan. 31, 1732. N. R. I wanted to pass this along to see if there could be some way to get it all corrected. Thank you, Warren Buschmann [email address removed]

Hi & thank you for joining the Virginia Project.

We have two google groups - one for discussion (https://groups.google.com/g/wtvirginiadiscuss) and one for managed profiles (https://groups.google.com/g/wtvirginia). Send a join request if you'd like to join either or both (include your WikiTree ID so we know it's you).

When you get a chance, please add your info on the Virginia Team page (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Virginia_Team). If you haven't already looked it over, Virginia Project (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Virginia) is the main project page and has lots more information.

As you already have the the United States badge for Kentucky, that also covers the Virginia Project.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers,

Sjana

I have one Holmes in my tree. She is Rosa Elvie Holmes born 1896 in Kentucky. She eventually leads to the Gentry family that turns into my dad's maternal side who married into the Locke's. What is the common ancestor we share

Dear Chrissy

I have an 1802 bible (published in Philadelphia) with the name Benjamin Price on the cover, which I found in the basement of the house my family bought in silver Spring MD in 1964. Ive had it ever since. Interestingly, he lived in Chester PA, where my first ancestor Randall Malin settled in 1692, and his descendants lived too. Are you related to this Benjamin?

posted by Philip Malin
Phillip I am not sure on Benjamin. I have three very distinct Price Line's. One I have traced all the way back to Germany, the other one I am stuck in Virginia and the third I am just starting on. Though a little tidbit I have Malin's from Chester PA in my tree. They married into my family and ended up in Nelson County Kentucky

Chrissy, I must have too much time on my hands. I wondered how you could be thanking me for working on such distantly unrelated profiles. We are 9C1R, related through 3 of my ggps, each with long local lines, in IL, PA, and ME (both of the ME 2nd ggps). 8 small gedmatch segments, one of them shared with my mother. They all say DNA has no relationship that far back. So, you're welcome.
