Biography

Frank was born in 1879 in Saint John, NB[1]. He was the son of Joseph Likely and Alice Boddie.

In 1881 Frank was 1, living in Saint John NB with his parents Joseph A. Likely, 30, a Lumber Surveyor and Alice Likely, 27 and his brother Arthur Likely, 2[2].

In 1891 Frank was 10, living in Portland Dufferin Ward, Saint John, New Brunswick with his parents Joseph A Likely, 39, a Shipping Agent and Alice S Likely, 35. Their children were Arthur Likely, 12; Frank Likely, 10; David Likely, 9 and Roy Likely, 8[3].

In 1911 Frank is 31, living with his parents Joe, a Lumber(?) Dealer living at City Road 10, St. John with Alice, 58 and their children: Frank, 31; Gordon, 25 and Jessie, 22[4]. Note these children's names are different from a decade previous, yet are listed in Muriel Likely's notes, attached to Likely-87.

on 30 Oct 1912 Frank, 32, a Clerk, married Elizabethina (Bessie) Fiske Armstrong, 34[5]. He was living at 9 Garden St.[6].

In 1921 Frank is 42, a Lumber Merchant, living at 86 Duke St., St John City #3 Dukes Ward, St. John, NB. He is married to Elizabeth F Likely, 42 and their children Joseph A. Likely, 7 and Robert Gordon Likely, 5[7].

In 1931 Frank is 52, a retail Lumber Merchant, living at 86 Duke St., St John City #3 Dukes Ward, St. John, NB. He is married to Bessie Likely, 53. Their son Joseph Andrew, 16 is living with them[8].

He passed away in 1952.
