Welcome to the Civil War project!!

Hi Lopi,

You added a marriage date & place to the profile for Edward Colburn. When making changes to Project Protected profiles, you'll need to supply a reliable source. As far as I'm aware, there is no marriage record. In addition, their children were born in the 1640's and 50's, so it is unlikely that they married in 1672. I've restored the previous approximate date. Please advise if you have a source for the changes you made. Thanks

Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, coordinating with others is essential. I suggest for your research:

William Penn and early Pennsylvania Settlers, leader is Maggie N; and Jamestown, Virginia Colony which is a sub-project of US Southern Colonies led by Paula J

Or use the Pre-1700 Projects list to review other possibilities.
