Kleyn-2 and Kleyn-8 appear to represent the same person because: they were in an unmerged match & the New Netherland Settlers Approval System (http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:New_Netherland_Settlers_-_Approval_System) now has them marked "Green" (NNS Category) and "Orange" (Merge Pending), indicating that the two are ready to be merged. Thanks!

I agree, Uldrick (Uldrich) is definitely germanic not Dutch, so his LNAB would have been Kleyn or Klein, we could aka him as Clein.

Philip, the spelling of this Clein name has always bothered me. I propose that instead we should make this much more "Germanish" Kleyn profile the NNS

http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Kleyn-2

That profile has at least a couple more desecendant gerneations as Kleyn as well, so I suppose that eventually we will have more Kleyn descendants, or maybe Klein. So perhaps Clein should just be an aka on this oldest ancestor.

Both profiles claim the same three sources, but each with only the one spelling, so that is no help. But Clein seems to me to be more Dutchified, between the two.

Would you concur here, or disagree, and keep it as is?
