Biography

Albert was born in Bolney Sussex in 1882. He is the son of Charles Hole and Elizabeth Simmonds. Albert was christened in Bolney on 29 October 1882.

During the late 1890's, Albert served in the British militia (3rd Sussex Regiment) - the duration and nature of his service is unclear. However, we also note that he became a deserter in Dover Kent on 15 April 1900.

We are uncertain as to the next phase of Albert's life but he appeared to relocate to British Columbia Canada after his desertion. We can locate no emigration or census records to determine the timing of that.

Albert's death record indicates that his marital status was 'single' - he never married nor had children.

Albert passed away in North Vancouver, British Columbia on 7 December 1915 at age 33.
