Anne E. Hinds and Cyrus Soper, both of Livermore, Maine, published at Livermore on 29 Nov 1840 their intention to marry,[3] and they married there on 15 Dec 1840.[2]
After the death of her husband at Deering, Maine, in 1891, Ann Soper went to live with relatives in Massachusetts, Chicago (where her son Cyrus lived), and Livermore, Maine. The Hinds genealogy says that in 1899, "She now retains all her faculties, does fancy work and embroideries of the latest date."[2]
Death
Anne E. (Hinds) Soper died in 1902, and she is probably buried at the Hillman Ferry Cemetery in Livermore, Maine, where the Soper family gravestone is inscribed with her dates, 1818-1902.[4]
