Peter was born 3 Apr 1783 in Northampton, Pennsylvania, United States.[1][2]

He was the son of Christian Hartzel and Anna Marie Bruch.[1][2][3]

He married Christina Lahr 18 September 1811 in Easton, Northampton, Pennsylvania, United States.[4]

Together they had children:[3][4]
  1. Adam Hertzell, b. 2 February 1814.[4]
  2. Matthew Herzell, b. 21 September 1815.[4]

He preceded his father in death.[3] He passed away 13 Mar 1824 in Williams Township, Northampton, Pennsylvania. He was 40 years old.[1][2][4]
