Biography
Listed in error as Margaret Handford on her Baptism at Kirk Langley, Derbyshire in 1824. The daughter of Charles Handford & Mary (Nee Gray). Later named as her father on her marriage. Despite a thorough check, there was no Margaret Handford born in Kirk Langley during any period within a decade of Martha's approximately birth date of 1824.
She married William Wheeldon at St Werburgh, Derby, Derbyshire in 1844. Her father was Charles Handford which verifies the error on her Baptism.
