Biography

Patrick Gray is a member of Clan Gray.

Patrick, Master of Gray, was the son of Andrew Greay and Elizabeth Wemyss.[1]

He married firstly Margaret Fleming, the daughter of Sir Malcolm Fleming of Biggar and his wife, Elizabeth Stewart, daughter of Robert, Duke of Albany. Governor of Scotland, and niece of King Robert III.[2][3]

He married, secondly, Annabella Forbes, daughter of Alexander Forbes, 1st Lord Forbes and Lady Elizabeth Douglas, before 1445.[2] They had issue:

  1. Andrew, 2nd Lord Gray> d. Feb 1513/14[2]
  2. Janet[2]
  3. Elizabeth, m. David Rollock of Ballachie[2]
  4. a daughter, m. Andrew Monorgund of that Ilk[2]
  5. a daughter, m. Collace of Balnamoon[4]

He died between 23 August 1463 and 1 September 1464.[2]
