Biography
Frederick William French, son of Emily McCready (or McGready) and tailor Frederick French, was born on April 9, 1888, in Sarnia, Ontario.[1] He married Lotus Henderson Cameron (1891-1935) on Sept. 25, 1913, in Toronto.[2] He was working as a civil servant at the time of his marriage.[3] During the two years preceding his early death, Fred was employed as a government clerk in the food controller department. He died in Sarnia on April 18, 1920, at the age of just 32,[4] and was buried on the 21st in Sarnia's Lakeview Cemetery.[5]
