Biography
Rebecca Feldt was born in 1902. She was the daughter of Eva Feldt[1] although an Ancestry profile suggests other parents: Jacob Feldt Or Felt and Sarah Harris[2]. Eva Feldt married married Frederick Goodwin in 1903[3] and it appears Rebecca was born the year previously and her birth not registered. Rebecca is mentioned on her mother, Eva's, death certificate in 1961[4].
Rebecca Feldt Saligari married Harry Vern Allanson (born in 1897 in Cockburn, Colony of South Australia) in 1924 in Kalgoorlie[5]. Their children were:
- Gwenith S Allanson (1926–1930)
- Elaine Allanson (1931–1996)
Rebecca died in 1980 in East Coolgardie, Western Australia, Australia, aged 78[1]. She was buried in Kalgoorlie Cemetery, Kalgoorlie–Boulder, Kalgoorlie-Boulder City, Western Australia.[6].
Research Notes. Changed the last name of Godwin to Saligari as per death source. Am unable to find a birth record for either name but there is a Robert Saligari who dies in Perth and is buried at Karakatta Cemetery, ages 90 in 1974[7]. Records show he married an Eva Goodwin in 1943[8] - is this a later marriage for her father? Eva had previously married as Eva Feldt to a Frederick Goodwin in 1903[3]
