Biography

Harry Vern Allanson was born in 1897 in Cockburn, Colony of South Australia, son of Frederick Bennett Kotz Allanson (1867–1956) and Florence Martin Rowett (1872–1947).^[1]

Harry applied to join the Australian Imperial Force on 1 August 1917. Both of his parents signed giving their approval. He was turned down on 8 August 1917 due to poor eyesight.^[2]

Harry married Rebecca Feldt Saligarri in 1924 in Kalgoorlie.^[3].

In March 1950 he is working as a miner in Kalgoorlie when his daughter Elaine marries^[4].

Harry died about 1984 in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, Australia, aged about 86^[5]. Harry was buried in Kalgoorlie Cemetery, Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Kalgoorlie-Boulder City, Western Australia, Australia with a death date of 1984^[6].
