Here is my family tree.
There were two Richard Egglestons that came to Jamestown, Virginia in 1635 on the same ship but age difference was only 10 years so not father and son. So we don't know which of these survived and became my ancestor, although there are several Richard Egglestons later in my line. His grandson Joseph was the first Eggleston in my line that we have reliable documents. My mother's family are Canada from Halifax County, Virginia with both her father and mother having the Canada surname who were second cousins once removed. Most of my American-born ancestors that I have found are from Virginia. The Canada and Morton families lived in colonial Maryland for a few generations before moving to Virginia.
