Thomas was baptised on 3rd November 1822 at St Laurence's, Combe, Oxfordshire.[1] He was the son of Job Eaton and Mary Eaton. His father stated on the register that he was a labourer.
Marriage
Thomas Eaton and Hannah Maria Buckingham were married after banns on 11th March 1843 at St Peter and St Paul, Hanborough.[2] They were bachelor and spinster and both of the parish. Thomas was a minor, working as a labourer and the son of Job Eaton who was also a labourer. Hannah Maria was of full age, working as a gloveress and the daughter of Joseph Buckingham who was a labourer. They both signed their own names on the register. The witnesses to the marriage were Edward Yeatman and Caroline Buckingham.[3]
