Biography

Thomas Downer, son of Daniel Downer and Elizabeth Upton, [1] [2] was born in about 1825 in Brighstone, Isle of Wight. [1] [2] [3] [4] He was baptised on 29 May 1825 in Brighstone, Isle of Wight. [1] [5] His first marriage was to Adelaide Parrott on 16 September 1848 in Beckenham, Kent. [6] [7] Following the death of his first wife, he then married Emma Clark (formerly Powell) on 7 August 1875 at St John's church, Hoxton, Middlesex. [8] [9] Following the death of his second wife, he then married Susanna Facey (formerly Harwood) on 11 July 1883 at Christ Church, Rotherhithe, Surrey. [10] He died on 23 January 1898 in Sidcup, Kent. [11] [12] [13] He was buried on 27 January 1898 in Sidcup, Kent. [14]

On 11 July 1883 at 470 Southwood Park Road, Rotherhithe, Surrey. [10]

On 5 April 1891 in Broyle Lane, Ringmer, Sussex, with his third wife Susannah Downer and his daughter Ada Downer aged 18. [17] [23]
