Biography

Lavinia Downer, daughter of Thomas Downer and Adelaide Parrott, [1] [2] [3] was born on 19 June 1869 in Penge, Surrey. [2] [3] [4] [5] She was baptised on 25 July 1869 at St John's church, Penge, Surrey. [1] Her first marriage was to William Henry Willoughby on 29 November 1897 in Sidcup, Kent. [6] [7] She arrived in Quebec, Canada on 30 May 1911 on board the S.S. Dominion. [8] She then married William Henry Paul, although it is not known when or where they married. [9] She died on 12 March 1950 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, United States. [5] [9] She was buried in Valhalla Memorial Park, North Hollywood, Los Angeles County, California, United States. [10]

On 2 April 1911 at 16 Blackhorse Road, Sidcup, Kent, with her children Doris Willoughby aged 12, William Willoughby aged 10, Adele Willoughby aged 8, Frederick Willoughby aged 5 and Leslie Willoughby aged 4. [15] [16]
