Biography

Jesse Downer, son of Daniel Downer and Elizabeth Upton, ^{[1] [2] [3]} was born in about November 1837 in Godshill, Isle of Wight. ^{[2] [3] [4]} He was baptised on 18 February 1838 in Godshill, Isle of Wight. ^[1] He married Rosina Powell on 25 August 1861 in Beckenham, Kent. ^[5] He died on 15 October 1921 in South Norwood, Surrey. ^{[6] [7] [8]}
